Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) / Master of Child and Adolescent Welfare

Sunayana is an experienced professional with over a decade of current industry experience in child protection and out of home care. Sunayana holds a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology. She also holds a Master of Child and Adolescent Welfare and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

A significant part of Sunayana’s career has been spent with NSW Communities and Justice (DCJ) in a number of roles across the agency including Casework Specialist and Manager Casework. She has previously been an ABA therapist for children.

Sunayana has extensive experience in facilitating and consulting in Group Supervision for child protection practitioners. She places importance on practitioners working with children and families in a respectful way and building relationships and connecting with others by showing empathy and openness. She works hard to inspire practice and supports practitioners to improve outcomes for children and families.
