Lisa has over 15 years’ experience working in the child protection, family support, domestic violence and mental health sectors, as well as in private practice. Throughout her career, Lisa has directly supported children, adolescents and adults, has managed a team of family support staff and has delivered training and therapeutic group programs for professionals and clients. Her therapeutic framework is trauma-informed, attachment-focussed and strengths-based and her primary modality of working with children is child-centred play therapy.
Lisa is passionate about her work with children and young people and their parents/carers, particularly those who have experienced trauma. In her work, Lisa strives to ensure all of her clients have an opportunity to be heard, feel valued and to achieve personal growth and development.
