Jack entered the human services field 8 years ago working with men experiencing homelessness, at the time he completed an honours thesis on the topic of case management within homeless services. After working in a Specialist Homelessness Service, he then worked in the immigration sector for several years, providing support to men seeking asylum. The past 3 years has been focused on the child protection and out of home care sector, undertaking various roles such as a caseworker, assessor, investigator and information release officer.
His practice framework is based on strengths-based perspective, anti-oppressive practice, social justice and human rights. Jack is currently completing his Master of Social Work (Qualifying) at University of Sydney.
