Bachelor Social Work (Hons IIA)

Courtney graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons IIA) in 2014. Upon graduation, Courtney began working as a Foster Care Worker in a non-government agency in which she supported children placed in out of home care and their foster or kinship carers. Courtney was completing foster and kinship carer assessments in this role. Courtney is currently working with youth that are at risk of disengaging from their High School education and assisting them to reach their goals. Courtney has a real passion for working with children, young people and their families to ensure they are provided with client-centred, trauma informed and holistic support. Courtney is also currently studying a Graduate Certificate of Counselling.
